It took all night, but I've finally revised my book From the Heart: Poems, which can be found in both paperback and Kindle versions on Amazon via tis link: http://www.amazon.com/Heart-Poems-April-Morone/dp/1452844704/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1317686974&sr=8-1. I revised it, including most of the poems that I'd already had in my book, plus the additional poems that I've added into the book (I've also grammatically revised the poems and the book, as well, to keep it to one sise of font and formatting, and I've divided my book into three different sections where I now have poems all sectioned into their appropriate areas within this book. I did a very thorough revision of my book, and I'm relived that I was able to get it done. I held off on working on the revisions of my romance novel, for Friday night, after all, cus I really wanted to get one project done at a time, instead of a little bit at a time of many projects. At any rate, this weekend, I plan on now revising my romance novel, and on revising it, thoroughly. And I plan on getting it finished of writing it within a month's time, or so (it could happen, sooner, possibly, but I have several different projects I am working on at the same time, including art and computer projects (computer projects that require the knowledge and usage of CSS, HTML, PHP, Javascript, etc.), at the moment. But, at least, I got this revision of my already published book done. That is a huge relief. And who knows? Maybe after writing some new poems, I might revise this same book, again and add those newer poems within it, as well, before starting a second poetry book, what will then become, later on, my third book, after my romance novel is published? Only time will tell. But for now, I'm relieved that I got this done, and am tired. So, I am going to go rest for a short while before my writers' meeting that I can attend via Skype, this morning, in just over an hour's time. Hugs, all.
P.s. One of the newer poems and newer additions to my poetry book is the poem "Walk With Me," which I am including in this poem, below:
“Walk With Me”
Walk with me
Into the night
Take me into your arms
Let everything be alright.
Embrace me, now,
And let yourself be free
From all the cares of the world
Take refuge in me
Come on and
Let yourself be free
Embrace life and love
And live happily

ReplyDeleteI agree with Martin. But good work, revising it and getting it done. Hardest part for me.
ReplyDeleteWilliam and Donna,
ReplyDeleteTy. I will. Just tht if I don't do something-anything-I will get bored, easily. Lol. Always been that way. Lol. Well, since I love to write and do all those things, I will do so, just a little bit at a time, this time. I shouldn't have rushed into all of that, that night. But, it does feel good to have gotten it all done of that book. :)
I bought the e-book a while back. I wonder if I have to repurchase to get the revised edition....
ReplyDeleteGood for you, April!
